About

Me

I'm Kaleigh. I have been passionate about animals ever since I was a little girl.  I currently take animal science classes at a career center where I have been the president of our local FFA chapter for the past two years. In the fall, I will be attending the University of South Florida where I will be studying pre-veterinary sciences, zoology, and psychology.

In the past, I have participated in several hands on programs at Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay, Florida; while there, I have worked with animals including orangutans, tigers, elephants, hippos, lemurs, and many more. This summer I am returning to Florida to work with the marine animals at SeaWorld, and to work with a vareity of species, such as rhinos, at Busch. Recently, I have been focused on my research project focusing on the five different subspecies of rhinos. I am hoping that together, we can find a way to save endangered species worldwide.
